Stocker / Cashier / Assistant Manager

Happy Liquor & Wine – Memphis, TN

Happy Liquor & Wine is looking for an experienced, hardworking and dependable person to join our team. We are a busy liquor store and need someone who is comfortable taking responsibility, working independently and helping manage daily store operations.

We are looking for someone interested in a long-term opportunity with our business. We value employees who are dependable, loyal and committed to growing with the store. For the right person, there is an opportunity to take on additional responsibilities and grow into a stronger management role.

Hours: Approximately 25–40 hours per week
Pay: Competitive and based on liquor store experience, product knowledge and management ability.

Responsibilities

• Stock liquor, wine and other products quickly and accurately
• Keep shelves fully stocked, organized and clean
• Operate the cash register and handle cash responsibly
• Provide professional and friendly customer service
• Have good knowledge of liquor, wine and related products
• Receive and organize deliveries and inventory
• Maintain a clean and professional store environment
• Help supervise daily store operations when needed
• Take responsibility for opening/closing and other management duties as assigned
• Help improve store organization, customer service and sales

What We Are Looking For

Previous liquor store experience is strongly preferred. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, honest, loyal and professional. The right person should have good customer service and communication skills, be comfortable working in a busy environment, and have the ability to take responsibility without constant supervision.

Management or assistant management experience is a plus.

Applicants must be reliable, punctual and willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Background check required.
