The role involves traveling throughout the warehouse’s pick area and building stable pallets of product, meeting or exceeding the warehouse and company expectations regarding safety, accuracy, and efficiency. Duties & Responsibilities Retrieves and places quantities of cases of product onto a pre‑determined pallet as instructed by the assigned pick ticket, ensuring safe and stable pallet building while meeting expectations in safety, accuracy, and efficiency. Travels to and transports pallets of stacked product to different areas of the warehouse via a powered industrial truck (PIT) – pallet jack. Assists in warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping as assigned. Performs daily PIT checklist and reports any issues to warehouse management. Corrects mistakes identified by the checker regarding product or quantity. Performs other duties as assigned. Supports efficient warehouse operations in a dynamic environment. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while walking and repeatedly lifting up to 30 lbs. Capability to lift up to 75 lbs. Collaboration within a team environment. Organize efficient and dependable warehouse processes. Adapt to role requirements in different work areas throughout the day. Read and interpret instructions from a computer screen. Attention to detail and ability to differentiate packages. Operate in a noisy, non‑temperature‑controlled environment (hot in summer, cold in winter). Initiate proactive value‑add opportunities. Flexibility in schedules and hours to meet business demands. Minimum Qualifications Up to 12 months of related work experience. PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certification: pallet jack.
