We value open communication, work-life balance, and invest in our staff through training, mentorship, and advancement opportunities.Position Overview: PsychometristThe Psychometrist administers, scores, and documents standardized psychological and neuropsychological assessments under the direct supervision of a licensed psychologist or neuropsychologist at The ITD Group. This is a full-time, on-site clinical position at our administrative office at 2008 Eastview Parkway, Suite 200, Conyers, GA 30016.What You Will BringRequired:Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferredMinimum 2–3 years of experience in a clinical or educational setting with a focus on autism spectrum disorders or developmental assessmentKnowledge of ASD assessment tools and methodologies (e.g., ADOS, BDI, CARS, Vineland, WPPSI, WISC)Proficiency in data entry, documentation software, and electronic health record (EHR) systemsExceptional attention to detail and commitment to standardized protocol adherenceStrong interpersonal skills for working with children and families of diverse backgroundsAbility to pass a background checkPreferred:Experience working specifically with pediatric populations in an assessment or evaluation settingFamiliarity with scoring software for neuropsychological assessment toolsPrevious experience in an ABA therapy or behavioral health clinicTraining in trauma-informed or culturally responsive assessment practicesWhat You'll DoAdminister standardized psychological and neuropsychological assessments to pediatric clients following all standardized protocols exactly — no deviations without documentationCreate a comfortable, professional, and distraction-free testing environment for every examineeAdapt the testing environment for diverse developmental levels, sensory needs, and special accommodations as clinically directedAccurately score all test protocols; calculate and verify standard scores, percentiles, and age equivalents against the manual norms tablesEnter all scored data accurately into the approved record system same-day; organize and secure all test materialsPrepare detailed, accurate behavioral observation notes and test record summaries for the supervising psychologist within the same day or within 3 business days — no exceptionsDocument any deviation from standardized testing procedure immediately with a specific description of what changed and whyCommunicate significant behavioral observations and any validity concerns to the supervising psychologist before report writing beginsParticipate in clinical team meetings and case reviews with prepared, relevant contributionsMaintain strict test security and client confidentiality in all settings at all timesCompensation & Performance-Based GrowthPay: $25.00–$35.00 per hour, full-time (40 hours/week).We use a structured annual performance evaluation system that assesses this role across test administration quality and protocol adherence, scoring and data accuracy, documentation and reporting timeliness, clinical team collaboration, and professional conduct and ethics. High performers—those who consistently exceed expectations—are eligible for merit increases of 5–7% plus bonus consideration. Employees who meet expectations receive 3–4% annual merit increases.
