The Property Lead Maintenance Tech plays a crucial role in managing maintenance operations for residential properties. This position oversees a small team of 1-3 members, ensuring efficient maintenance planning, safety compliance, and effective coordination with external vendors. The role demands hands-on equipment repair skills and occasional emergency maintenance response, utilizing custom software for tracking and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities for residential properties
- Coordinate and lead a small maintenance team to ensure operational efficiency
- Perform equipment repair and upkeep to maintain property standards
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Manage relationships and coordinate work with external vendors and contractors
- Respond promptly to occasional emergency maintenance situations
- Maintain accurate inventory and use custom software for maintenance tracking and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in property maintenance
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC repair, and plumbing
- Experience with preventive maintenance practices
- Strong team leadership and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and time management abilities
