Scientific Global Product Leader, Advanced Staining Reagents

Leica Biosystems seeks a Scientific Global Product Leader to manage advanced staining reagents and AI-enabled diagnostic assays. The role defines product strategy, translates clinical and market insights into solutions, and partners cross-functionally to drive precision medicine growth in cancer diagnostics.

Responsibilities

Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-enabled diagnostic assays aligned to business objectives
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and inform investment decisions
Lead product lifecycle management from concept through launch, including performance metrics and portfolio optimization
Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and commercially successful solutions
Engage internal and external stakeholders including pharma partners and KOLs to shape product strategy and launch plans

Requirements

Advanced clinical or scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD)
Strong understanding of CDx development, AI diagnostics, digital pathology, and oncology markets
Significant product management, medical affairs, or commercial leadership experience in diagnostics
Demonstrated success leading clinical trial execution and product lifecycle ownership
Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills across matrixed teams
Experience translating clinical and scientific insights into product strategy and adoption plans

Compensation: $225,000-$260,000 base, plus bonus/incentive pay
