JOB PURPOSE

The Counter Sales Associate acts as the primary point of contact for NAPA’s retail and wholesale customers. A person in this position is responsible for ensuring sales by determining customers' needs, assisting in securing necessary parts, maintaining personal and store image, and ensuring customers receive a good experience.

DUTIES

Build good relationships with NAPA customers. Greet customers and demonstrate ability to quickly understand needs. Secure correct parts and resolve issues for customers. Maintain appearance of store and displays. Assist in receiving/stocking incoming merchandise. Bilingual Spanish

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid Driver’s License preferred (required for some locations). Previous retail sales experience preferred. GED preferred. Capable of operating point‑of‑sale system and cataloging. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, ability to multi‑task and self‑motivated.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Ability to stand and walk for entire work shift. Capable of moving merchandise up to 60 pounds. Ability to move heavy equipment using moving aids. Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively. *This is not a complete list of responsibilities.
