Travel Respiratory Therapist - $2,318 per week

Recruiter: MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing Job Overview We are looking for a travel Respiratory Therapist to work in Ithaca, New York starting 08/02/2026 for an 8‑week assignment. The position is 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts, and is paid on a weekly basis. Qualifications Respiratory Therapist credential by the NBRC, and CPR certification required. At least 18 months of respiratory care experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting. Valid travel credential and ability to work nights. Responsibilities Provide respiratory care to patients per physician orders and established policies and procedures. Participate in the development and/or implementation of patient care plans. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines. Maintain good customer relations; communicate professionally with management, coworkers, facility staff, patients, families, and other caretakers. Provide instruction to patients and caretakers on therapy methods and objectives. Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.
