Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) (Nights)

Location Berlin, NH Description We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing respiratory care to patients during night shifts. Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as prescribed. Monitor and adjust ventilator settings for patients in critical care. Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop patient care plans. Educate patients and their families on respiratory disease management. Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate respiratory support. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to respiratory care. Requirements Qualifications - A minimum of three years of experience in an acute care environment is required. Qualifications - Demonstrated high proficiency in the use of ventilators is essential. Qualifications - Experience with Home Health Nursing (HHN), BiPAP, and CPAP is preferred. Qualifications - Prior experience with travel assignments is highly encouraged. Qualifications - Candidates must be willing to apply for a temporary New Hampshire Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license, which has a processing timeframe of 7 to 14 days. Certification Requirements - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is mandatory. Certification Requirements - National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification is required.
