Key Responsibilities\nAs a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Youth Empowerment Services, you will:

- Implement evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to guide clients toward recovery. \n
- Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to enhance their overall well-being. \n
- Regularly monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. \n
- Engage with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care and ensure the best treatment approaches. \n
- Stay current with research in mood disorder treatment to refine our therapeutic techniques. \n

Your work will predominantly involve clients struggling with various mood disorders, including individuals from diverse backgrounds such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Qualifications\n- \n
- A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California. \n
- A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. \n
