Environmental Manager

Position Overview

The Environmental Manager will oversee all environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives for a major manufacturing plant in the Lincoln area. This leadership role reports directly to the Plant Manager and ensures full adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain Compliance : Manage Title V air permits, wastewater discharge, and hazardous waste.
Lead Auditing : Conduct routine site assessments and implement corrective action plans.
Agency Liaison : Serve as the primary contact for State and Federal agencies.
Reporting : Submit accurate, timely reports for TRI, Tier II, and emissions inventories.
Culture Improvement : Partner with operations to drive zero-waste and sustainability goals.

Candidate Requirements

Education : Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience : Minimum of 5 years managing environmental compliance within a manufacturing facility.
Regulatory Knowledge : Strong familiarity with State and Federal regulations.
Citizenship : Must be legally authorized to work in the US without current or future sponsorship.
