Join us!About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking an Information Security Manager to join our Cybersecurity Technology group. The Cybersecurity group is responsible for protecting the company from cyber threats, engaging with Wells Fargo businesses, assessing information security risk, providing identity services, performing security engineering, and operating the Cybersecurity function.This Information Security Manager will be responsible for leading IAM operational teams and building a cross-trained organization that can effectively support multiple processes and functions. This role drives operational excellence, develops talent, promotes knowledge sharing, and ensures team members gain the skills necessary to provide coverage across critical functions. This manager will partner with stakeholders to deliver secure, compliant, and efficient access management services while improving workforce flexibility, resiliency, and employee development.In this role, you will:Manage and optimize IAM business operations, ensuring alignment with organizational security and business objectivesInvestigate security incidents and recommend corrective action or risk treatment plansProvide training to users on IAM policies and procedures and offer expert troubleshooting and support for IAM-related issuesCollaborate with IT, cybersecurity, HR, and business teams to enhance IAM processes, automation, and efficiencyDevelop IAM business strategies, metrics, and reporting to measure effectiveness and complianceSupport IAM program initiatives, including role-based access control (RBAC), privileged access management (PAM) and identity lifecycle managementEnsure seamless onboarding, offboarding and access review process to maintain security and minimize risksManage IAM-related projects, driving continuous improvements in identity governance, workflows, and user experienceAct as a liaison between business stakeholders and IAM technical teams to translate business needs into actionable IAM strategiesMonitor and enhance IAM risk management processes, ensuring timely mitigation and security gapsWork with vendor, auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure IAM operations adhere to best practicesRequired Qualifications:5+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education5+ years of experience in Information Security operations management or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education2+ years of Leadership experienceDesired Qualifications:5+ years of Identity Access Management experience preferred2+ years of Technology or Business controls experience2+ years related work experience in financial industry operations or systemsStrong understanding of IAM frameworks, identity governance, and security best practicesFamiliarity with IAM technologies such as Okta, SailPoint, Microsoft Azure AD, CyberArk or similar platformsFamiliarity with authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP) and compliance frameworksProven ability to manage IAM projects, optimize processes, and drive operational efficienciesCISSP, CISM, or other relevant information security professional certificationsJob Expectations:This position offers a hybrid work schedule - ability to work in office This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorshipRelocation assistance is not available for this positionPosting End Date: 29 Sep 2026*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.We Value Equal OpportunityWells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
