This position will be the first point of contact for users needing IT Assistance. While providing the highest level of customer service, the IT Help Desk Tech will answer incoming calls, track information/progress, and resolve requests or elevate to the appropriate IT team member. Provide ongoing support for PCs, printers, scanners and other peripheral devices. Assist end users with questions, problems and simple application. Competent to work on most phases of personal computing technologies and advises users and management upon request. Conducts research and self-directed study on local Area Network technologies. Qualifications For The Job... Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Associates or Bachelors' degree in computer science or related field preferred. Strong knowledge of PCs, technology, software applications; ability to gain and apply expertise, trouble shoot, analyze situations to determine next steps and ability to prioritize work.
