Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans to restore patient mobility and function
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities tailored to their recovery goals
• Monitor patient progress and document treatments accurately
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
• Collaborate with the rehab team to ensure coordinated patient care

Qualifications

• Current California Physical Therapist Assistant license required
• CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and team members
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist patients for extended periods

Education

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of physical therapy modalities and rehabilitation techniques
• Skilled in patient assessment and treatment documentation
• Proficient with electronic medical records systems
• Ability to adapt treatment approaches for diverse patient populations
