Job Description:
We are seeking a Patient Services Representative to support daily patient-facing and administrative operations in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience handling phone calls, email correspondence, data entry, and general office responsibilities.

• Greet patients and visitors and provide a welcoming experience.
• Complete patient check-in and check-out processes.
• Register patients and verify insurance information.
• Collect applicable copayments and coinsurance.
• Schedule diagnostic, follow-up, and other patient appointments.
• Answer and respond to patient phone calls and email inquiries.
• Manage patient wait times and assist with walk-in patients and visitors.
• Maintain accurate patient and administrative records.
• Manage the cashier box and complete daily deposit activities.
• Perform data entry and general administrative tasks using Microsoft Office.
  

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of customer service or patient service experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with data entry and Excel.
• Comfortable communicating with patients and clients by phone and email.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Microsoft Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Previous outpatient or clinic experience.
• Experience working with EMR/EHR systems.
