An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex, high-value projects from initial concept through to completion. This role will suit a confident delivery professional who can balance strategic thinking with strong operational control, while building effective relationships across a range of stakeholders.


You will take ownership of project scope, schedules, budgets, risks and quality standards, ensuring that objectives are clearly defined and consistently achieved. Working across multidisciplinary teams, you will provide direction, resolve issues promptly and maintain momentum throughout each stage of delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, governance and delivery of multiple projects in line with agreed objectives, timescales and budgets.
• Develop robust project plans, including milestones, dependencies, resources, costs and delivery risks.
• Manage project teams, consultants, suppliers and contractors, promoting collaboration and accountability.
• Monitor progress and performance, providing clear reports, updates and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Identify, assess and manage risks, issues and change requests through effective controls and escalation processes.
• Ensure projects meet relevant quality, compliance, health and safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead meetings, workshops and reviews, ensuring decisions and actions are clearly recorded and followed through.
• Support continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned and developing consistent project management practices.

About you


You will have substantial experience managing complex projects in a structured environment, with a proven record of delivering successful outcomes. A recognised project management qualification, such as PRINCE2, APM or equivalent, would be advantageous.


You should be highly organised, commercially aware and confident working with budgets, schedules and performance information. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential, together with the ability to influence stakeholders, manage competing priorities and make sound decisions under pressure. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, collaborative approach will be key to your success.
