Phlebotomist Per Diem

Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives. Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in East Brunswick, NJ. Work Schedule: This is a casual/per diem position; hours will be as needed. Start and end times will vary from Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm and rotating Saturdays 6:30am - 11:00am. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Able to pass a standardized color blindness test. Compensation Pay Range: $17.75 – $28.49 per hour. Phlebotomist may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Benefits Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled for less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees scheduled for a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO. For more detailed information, please click here. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and be the face of the company.
