Registered Nurse - Med Surg/ED Night Shift Location Not specified Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Job Description A Registered Nurse is needed for a Med Surg/ED night shift role. The nurse will float between the Med Surg unit and the Emergency Department, providing care to a diverse patient population, including trauma patients and elderly individuals with a variety of ailments. Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med Surg unit and Emergency Department. Assess patient needs and develop care plans. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1-2 years of ER experience; 2 years preferred. Current ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications required. Experience with CPSI EMR is preferred. Must be able to float between Med Surg and ER units.
