As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will have the opportunity to work on state-of-the-art equipment in one of the fastest growing industries in the country and make a true impact on growing the Electric Vehicle Industry. This role is located in Normal IL and reports to the Manager of Maintenance.ResponsibilitiesPerform break-fix & preventative maintenance.Identify and source parts, supplies and repair items as necessaryIndependently perform maintenance as per industry standardsMay be required to setup and operate multiple machining operations including but not limited to: lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.May perform welding tasksComply with 5S and housekeeping standardsDrive and participate in CI activities - processes, results, and cost savingsUpdate records and reviews CMMS historyTroubleshoot and analyze control systems to resolve software/hardware and configuration problemsUtilize predictive maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance dataProvide assistance to other technicians as needed and leadership to small teams.Perform more advanced functions as a part of training and developmentFollow all safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions, and guidelines.QualificationsWe are hiring for all levels of Maintenance Technicians. General requirements for the positions follow, but not all inclusive of all levels to technician. Understand electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze problems and perform repairs Ability to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate May be required to travel Electrical Certification (preferred) Industrial Maintenance experience (preferred) Skilled Trades degree or experience with an apprenticeship program (preferred) PLC programming experience (preferred) Experience with maintenance of hydraulics, pneumatics (preferred) Relevant certifications in HVAC (e.g., EPA Section 608), plumbing, or electrical trades. Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Familiarity with automation and controls. Experience with lean maintenance principles.Physical RequirementsAbility to work in various indoor and outdoor environments, including potential exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.Pay DisclosureThe salary range for this role is $30-$46.75 an hour for Illinois based applicants. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs. The successful candidate may be eligible for annual performance bonus.
