Prepare patients for examination, position patient based on physician s order,and operate Computed Tomography (CT) equipment and accessories. Produce quality images as directed by physicians and radiologists for the diagnosis or treatment of anatomic or physiologic disorders. Demonstrate knowledge of general anatomy, technical factors, CT imaging fundamentals, radiation protection, basic computer skills, and PACS. Competency in CT procedures, protocols, and techniques. Provides patient care and safety for all patient populations. This position will be working independently Thursday - Saturday performing CT and Xray. Unit Description: Operate C.T. equipment, C.T. fluoroscopy, including power injectors, where needed to demonstrate anatomical or physiologic disorders. Skills required; Xray and CT, Equipment is Philips Xray unit and GE CT unit. This position will be working independently Thursday - Saturday performing CT and Xray.
