Human Resources Specialist The Human Resources Specialist will provide support to client groups across the Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Administration, and IT functions in core people operations, recruiting, onboarding, employee record maintenance, compliance and employee relations. This role partners with managers and employees to deliver efficient, accurate and employee-centered HR services while ensuring alignment with company policies and applicable employment laws. Essential Functions/Duties and Responsibilities Administer designated HR processes for relevant client groups, ensuring activities are completed accurately, timely, and in alignment with company policy and compliance requirements. Serve as a point of contact for routine employee and manager questions, providing guidance on HR processes, policies, and next steps while escalating higher-risk or sensitive matters as appropriate. Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, transfers, job changes, and other employee lifecycle activities to ensure a consistent and well-managed employee experience. Prepare reports, dashboards, and other HR metrics to support decision-making and audit readiness. Track employment visa sponsorship cases and related immigration activity, including status updates, key dates, documentation follow-up, stakeholder communication, and coordination with employees, managers, legal counsel, and external partners. Collaborate on talent and people processes such as performance cycles, talent reviews, organizational changes, and workforce planning coordination. Assist in investigations, employee relations matters, and manager support activities. Contribute to HR projects across the supported functions, including process improvement, policy implementation, training coordination, job description development, and other strategic initiatives. Build strong working relationships with employees, managers, and cross-functional partners while developing an understanding of the business, organizational priorities, and practical HR application. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and employee experience within assigned processes and recommend practical solutions. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered. 1 to 3 years of experience in Human Resources, talent operations, recruiting coordination, or employee services. Experience managing detailed processes, trackers, deadlines, and confidential information with a high degree of accuracy. Exposure to onboarding, employee lifecycle administration, talent processes, or immigration/sponsorship coordination is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, follow through on commitments, and maintain attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees, managers, and external partners. Demonstrated judgment and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential matters. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and comfort learning HR systems, reporting tools, and process workflows.
