Tesla CDL DriversTesla CDL Drivers support raw material deliveries from yard, and offsite warehousing to the Gigafactory. They are essential for maintaining smooth operations by safely transporting materials and products, contributing to timely deliveries and reducing potential logistical delays.ResponsibilitiesTransport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and company policiesEnsure timely delivery of goods while minimizing delays and maintaining the quality of the cargoDaily truck and trailer inspectionVehicle cleaning including wash and minor detailingObtaining scale weights and refuelingCapable of performing material handling practices within the warehouse environment in between loadsMiscellaneous jobs as requiredRequirementsValid driver's license with Class A CDL and current DOT Physical Examination medical cardTSA driver hazardous materials endorsement required and 48' - 53' tractor trailer hauling experience preferredGreat work ethic & team player - level headed, detail oriented, safety contentious, courteous, flexible, punctual, professional, and customer focusedAccurately maintain daily driver log-book, pre-check, and post-check of truck. Ability to maintain a clean driving record with a high level of safety awareness on the roadwaysAbility to lift and move heavy boxes (up to 60 pounds) and manually pallet jack heavy material on/off trucks.
