Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner Locums Job in Deleware

Overview A hospital in Delaware is seeking a nurse practitioner to provide ongoing pediatric critical care coverage within a specialized cardiac ICU environment. Responsibilities Provide pediatric critical care coverage in a cardiac ICU setting. Support a mix of 12-hour and 24-hour shifts with a preference for nights and weekends. Commit to a minimum of three to five shifts per month. Manage an average patient volume of 14 patients per shift. Perform advanced critical care procedures including umbilical arterial and venous catheter placement and ventilator management. Collaborate with a dedicated care team with support in place. Qualifications Minimum two years of pediatric cardiac ICU experience. APN/Nurse Practitioner eligibility. ACLS, PALS, BLS required. Experience with pediatric critical care procedures (as listed). Availability for nights and weekends preferred.
