Responsibilities include developing medication protocols, order sets, and facilitating medication utilization reviews and performance improvement projects to optimize drug therapy. The role provides mentorship and serves as a clinical resource for staff and other healthcare providers. The specialist supports clinical activities across various pharmacy programs to ensure optimal patient outcomes and performs drug distribution functions as assigned. Estimated salary range: $118,907.47 – $154,579.71 per year, depending on experience. Qualifications

• Doctorate (Pharm.D.) is required.
• Registered Pharmacist license.
• Board Certification (BPS) is required; if not already certified, must obtain BPS within one year of hire date.
• Minimum 5 years of practice experience in the area of specialty if no residency training, or corresponding PGY experience as follows:

PGY1 residency with 2 years of practice experience in area of specialty and BPS required. PGY2 residency must have BPS within one year of hire. (PGY1 = 3 years of experience; PGY2 = 2 additional years). #J-18808-Ljbffr JobRx, Inc.
