Financial Analyst

A global retailer is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their Americas team, reporting to the Finance Manager out of their Manhattan and New Jersey offices. Responsibilities Support financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis across multiple countries in the Americas region Actively participate in monthly close processes in collaboration with the Shared Services Accounting team Analyze financial performance vs. budget/forecast and explain variances across P&L, CapEx, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Prepare and present monthly financial reports for regional and HQ leadership including the worldwide executive team Maintain and enhance forecasting models aligned with business assumptions and strategic priorities Partner with department heads and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver financial insights Support ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed Requirements Bachelor's in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; MBA a plus 2+ years in a similar FP&A or financial analyst role; retail experience is a plus Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and Anaplan; SAP experience a plus Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines Comfortable working with international counterparts and maintaining confidentiality #J-18808-Ljbffr Ascendo Resources
