RFA Engineering (rfamec.com) is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Technical Recruiter to support the growth of our engineering teams across the US. This role will focus on identifying, attracting, interviewing and hiring top engineering and technical talent across a variety of industries and disciplines. This would be a hybrid position based out of our corporate offices in either Eden Prairie, MN or Dubuque, IA. Technical Recruiter As a Technical Recruiter you will focus on identifying, attracting, interviewing and hiring top engineering and technical talent across a variety of industries and disciplines. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys building relationships, understands technical roles, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with hiring managers, engineering leaders, and candidates while playing a key role in supporting company growth. Responsibilities
RFA Engineering has provided product development and engineering services to industry leading customers since 1943. Our primary focus is the development of off highway equipment including agricultural, construction, mining, recreational, industrial, and special machines. Our work includes concept development, product design, documentation, problem-solving, simulation, optimization, and testing of components, systems and complete machines. Our engineering staff is located at our Engineering Center in Minneapolis, branch office in Dubuque, IA, and at numerous customer sites throughout the U.S. Competitive Benefits

- Source, recruit, and screen engineering and technical candidates for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire opportunities
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle including sourcing, interviewing, scheduling, offer coordination, and onboarding support
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, technical skill requirements, and team culture
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines through LinkedIn, job boards, networking events, referrals, and direct outreach
- Conduct phone screens and initial candidate evaluations
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within applicant tracking systems and internal databases
- Develop and post job descriptions across recruiting platforms
- Support recruiting events, career fairs, university outreach, and networking activities
- Build strong relationships with candidates to ensure a positive recruiting experience
- Assist with recruiting process improvements and talent acquisition strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams on workforce planning and staffing priorities
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent recruiting experience
- 2+ years of recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple open positions and priorities simultaneously
- Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, and networking
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience recruiting for engineering, manufacturing, software, or technical positions
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools
- Experience working in a staffing agency or technical recruiting environment
- Understanding of engineering disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, software, manufacturing, or systems engineering
- Experience supporting campus recruiting or recruiting events
