Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Job Description

Operate heavy equipment, including bulldozers (GPS experience preferred) and excavators, for land clearing, site preparation, and grading at a major data center project.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators and bulldozers for land clearing and site preparation.
• Utilize GPS technology for precision work.
• Perform grading and earthworks as needed.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment.
• Collaborate with team members on construction and civil site tasks.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in operating excavators and bulldozers.
• Experience with GPS-guided equipment.
• Knowledge of earthworks and heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to perform civil construction tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in heavy civil construction and data center projects.
• Comfortable working outdoors and performing tasks off equipment.
• Versatility in handling multiple pieces of heavy equipment.

Work at a massive data center campus, primarily outdoors. Must be comfortable with outdoor conditions and adaptable to various tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hampton, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00/hr.
