Property Manager We manage the overall operations of the property, ensuring efficient processes, overseeing supplier contracts, maintenance, lease administration, and monthly reporting while fostering a positive experience for residents, associates, and clients. Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day operations, resident satisfaction, retention, full rental lifecycle activities, P&L, and marketing. Meet client expectations and deliver excellent customer service. Recruit, interview, provide corrective feedback, and hire staff. Create a climate that encourages excellence through shared vision, coaching, and development. Implement strategic marketing plan to attract and retain residents. Follow operations guidelines set in the property management agreement. Respond to resident complaints, liaise with corporate on maintenance and rule enforcement. Maintain professional knowledge via workshops, publications, and networks. Organize and implement disaster and emergency evacuation plans. Manage safety records, loss claims, and risk‑management initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Education & Experience High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Two to three years’ property‑management experience required. One to two years of direct management experience required. Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities required. Real estate license preferred or may be required in some locations. Knowledge of Salesforce.com preferred. Experience with Yardi Voyager or similar system preferred. Skills & Requirements Very strong organizational and time‑management skills. Strong interpersonal skills for communication at all levels. Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Sensitivity to confidential matters. Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage urgency in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to relay technical concerns with detail and accuracy. Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English. Ability to use general office equipment (telephone, fax, printer, copier, key‑track system). Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
