Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care tasks are delegated
• Ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is delivered at the unit level
• Monitor and support competency of clinical staff
• Manage resources appropriately as they relate to patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in Medical Surgical nursing
• Demonstrated ability to assess and develop patient care plans
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a supervisory or charge nurse capacity
• Familiarity with resource management in an acute care setting
