Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures using self-service kiosks or handheld tablets
• Maintain a welcoming environment in the lobby and assist patients with questions or concerns
• Help ensure the waiting area remains organized and comfortable
• Assist with patient breaks to ensure staffing coverage in the lobby and draw room
• Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection following established protocols
• Handle patient information with confidentiality and accuracy
• Support daily operations by accurately maintaining required records and documentation
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and a professional demeanor at all times

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of client-facing customer service experience (e.g., retail, home health aide)
• Phlebotomy experience, even if just through internship or externship
• Proficiency in keyboard and data entry
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle patients with care and compassion
• Ability to work both in the lobby and in a clinical draw room as needed
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Additional Skills & Requirements

• Prior phlebotomy certification or training is preferred but not required
• Experience handling specimen collection in both forensic and clinical settings
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to cover breaks and staffing shortages
• Availability to work in a clinical environment in the region
