Position Overview To accelerate innovation across these brands, TRATON R&D brings together engineering expertise and technology development from around the world into one global organization, including International, Scania, MAN and Volkswagen Truck and Bus. Responsibilities Potential opportunities may exist within the following areas of TRATON R&D: Connected & Connected Services (C&C) Support the development of connected vehicle solutions, digital services, data-driven technologies, and future mobility innovations that enhance customer value and operational performance. Powertrain Contribute to the design, development, testing, and optimization of propulsion systems that power the next generation of commercial vehicles. Battery & Charging Support the advancement of electrification technologies, including battery systems, charging solutions, energy management, and sustainable transportation initiatives. Electrical Engineering & Software (EE & Software) Participate in the development of vehicle electronics, embedded systems, software platforms, controls, connectivity, and emerging digital technologies. Vehicle Engineering, Materials Engineering, CAE/Simulation Collaborate on shared technologies, systems, and engineering solutions that enable cross-brand innovation and support the TRATON Group's global product strategy. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
