We are seeking an experienced, patient-focused hygienist who is passionate about preventive care, periodontal health, and building lasting relationships with patients. Our ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative environment where teamwork and patient care are top priorities. As a clinical provider and patient advocate, you will play a key role in educating patients, promoting treatment acceptance, and helping patients achieve optimal oral health. You'll work alongside a supportive team that values professionalism, growth, communication, and high-quality care.Schedule:Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PMWednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMThursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PMFriday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PMHours are subject to change as the practice continues to grow. Friday hours may expand to 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM as an additional doctor joins the team.Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services including preventive and therapeutic carePerform patient screenings, assessments, periodontal charting, and oral health evaluationsConduct scaling and root planing procedures as neededDevelop and communicate individualized treatment recommendations based on patient needsDeliver exceptional patient education regarding oral health, periodontal disease, home care, and recommended treatmentTake diagnostic radiographs and maintain accurate patient recordsPartner with doctors to identify treatment opportunities and support same-day treatment acceptance when appropriateMonitor patient progress and reinforce treatment recommendations to improve overall health outcomesMaintain compliance with infection control, sterilization, and regulatory protocolsContribute to a positive patient experience by building trust and fostering long-term relationshipsCollaborate effectively with doctors, clinical support staff, and administrative team members to support practice goalsHelp create a professional, welcoming, and patient-centered office cultureQualifications:Current dental hygienist license in the state of Texas or the ability to obtain licensure prior to employment2-3 years of clinical dental hygiene experience preferredStrong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality preventive and periodontal careExperience with periodontal charting, scaling and root planing, dental hygiene assessments, treatment planning, and patient education preferredExcellent communication and patient education skillsAbility to build patient trust and encourage treatment acceptance through educationCompassionate, dependable, detail-oriented, and patient-focused approach to careStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work effectively in a collaborative team environmentExperience with Dentrix is preferred but not requiredProficiency with digital dental imaging is a plusExperience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, and dental practice management systems is preferred but not requiredAbout Dental Care at Jordan RanchDental Care at Jordan Ranch is a growing practice committed to providing exceptional patient care while creating a workplace where team members feel supported, valued, and motivated.
