Occupational Therapist (OT) – Outpatient, location in an outpatient rehabilitation setting. This role involves evaluating patients, developing and modifying treatment plans, and ensuring effective return to community activities. The position emphasizes patient education, safety, and adherence to professional standards.
Job Details
- Position Description: Outpatient Occupational Therapist responsible for patient evaluation, planning, and treatment in accordance with physician instructions, with a focus on lymphedema experience.
- Required Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school; CPR certification; active license for the state where work will be performed; 6 months to 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience; lymphedema experience required; minimum of 40 hours weekly schedule; 8-hour shift.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous assignment experience with your agency or with the organization is highly desired and nice to have.
- Clinical and Operational Responsibilities: Completes comprehensive patient evaluations, develops individualized treatment plans, and documents in medical records accurately and timely. Participates in a student program, providing supervision and education. Maintains professional licensure and adherence to state practice acts. Demonstrates commitment to safety and quality improvement initiatives.
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
