Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across all phases of labor in an LDRP setting, including labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
• Titrate oxytocin drips and manage other titratable medications as required by patient condition
• Independently read and interpret electronic fetal monitoring strips using GE EFM equipment
• Care for patients with diagnoses including hypertension, preeclampsia, preterm labor, and TOLAC
• Fulfill weekend, holiday, and on-call requirements as scheduled; on-call expectation is approximately one shift per six-week scheduling block
• Float as helping hands throughout the facility as needed (no independent assignment; support role only)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado
• Required certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS, and Fetal Monitoring
• Hands-on experience in labor and postpartum nursing
• Ability to titrate oxytocin drips independently
• Must be present in state for the full week of orientation, even if initial modules are completed remotely
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; valid driver's license required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with AWHONN staffing ratio guidelines
• Experience caring for high-risk OB patients including preeclampsia and TOLAC cases
• Prior experience in an LDRP unit covering all phases of perinatal care
• Comfort working in a unit where OB/Neonatology and Anesthesia are not in-house 24/7
