• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and conduct preventative maintenance and calibration on lab equipment.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Thoroughly document all processes, mentor new staff or students, and assist in sustaining lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe workspace while adhering to regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree complemented by ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be attained within a year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
