Field Service Technician

The Field Service Technician will plan and coordinate activities related to the installation, investigation, and resolution of customer reports on technical problems, as well as eliminate future operational or service difficulties with equipment. This role involves installing new or modified equipment, including connecting valves, pumps, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical controls.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate activities related to the installation and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Investigate and resolve customer reports of technical problems.
• Install new or modified equipment, including units, connecting valves, pumps, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical controls.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems to ensure smooth operation.
• Collaborate with the team to prevent future operational or service difficulties.

Essential Skills

• 3 years of experience in field service technician work.
• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical installation (wires, hydraulics, pumps).
• Expertise in troubleshooting and repairs with electrical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with schematic reading and blueprint interpretation.
• Knowledge in pneumatics and electronics.
• Ability to work with various mechanical assemblies.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverside, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
