About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS, IEFM Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: Unit Information: Number of beds: 15 labor beds, 3 OR suites, 4 Triage beds, 3 Preop/PACU beds. Number of staff: 55. Type of staff: Secretaries, ANMs, relief charge, ORTs. Day shift staffing: 30. Night shift staffing: 25. Patient ratios: 2:1, 1:1 if on pit, 3 or 4:1 in APU and Triage. Type of equipment: EFM with Toco, US, pulse oximeter, BP cables, NOVI EMR - Meditech. Typical hiring profile: Most recruited for: Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters. Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first: BSN, RNC-OB, EFM. Typical procedures performed: C-sections, Cerclage placement and removal, IUPC, FSE. Dress Code: Scrub Color - Royal Blue. Unit guidelines and policies will be obtained on the unit. Awards/Recognition: Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, schedule options.
