Open Rank - Structural Biology (Finance) The Department of Molecular Medicine seeks candidates for a tenured or tenure-track position who use structural biology-based approaches and cryo-EM to understand the molecular basis of disease that complement the department's existing strengths in infectious, neurological, and oncological diseases. The successful candidate for this position is expected to have already established a nationally recognized, competitively funded research program, and have experience mentoring and educating graduate and medical students. A highly competitive salary and start-up package commensurate with experience will be provided to the successful candidate to promote continued success. Minimum Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant, Associate Professor, or Full Professor. For Associate/Full Professor: Must have established a national and/or international reputation in the field as evidenced by significant publications and competitive research grants. Preferred Ph.D. in biochemistry or a related field, with research experience evidenced by peer-reviewed publications and successful grant writing. Preference will be given to candidates with interdisciplinary training, a record of collaboration, and direct experience with Cryo-EM techniques.
