(“BREIT”) is a perpetual-life, institutional quality real estate investment platform that brings private real estate to income focused investors. BREIT invests primarily in stabilized, income-generating U.S. commercial real estate across key property types and to a lesser extent in real estate debt investments.The BREIT Strategy & Management Senior Associate will work closely with the BREIT team to support the management of all aspects of BREIT, including the development and execution of key strategic initiatives. The role reports to the Chief Operating Officer of BREIT.Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Leading analytical workstreams and support execution across key strategic initiatives for the fund and its investments, including:Fund-level performance metrics and forward-looking performance projectionsPortfolio construction and capital allocation strategyBalance sheet management, capital structure, interest rate hedging and financing strategyLiquidity management, distributions and cash flow analysisSupporting the execution of BREIT’s Delaware Statutory Trust (“DST”) program, including transaction coordination, structuring considerations and collaboration with Private Wealth and distribution partnersEvaluating transaction- and portfolio-level considerations to inform investment decisions and strategic capital allocation, applying an investment-oriented perspective to fund-level strategyPartnering closely with the Private Wealth and Shareholder Relations teams on product development and capital formation initiatives, including preparing materials and occasionally participating in investor discussions or diligence callsCoordinating across multiple functions within the Real Estate platform, including Acquisitions, Asset Management, Capital Markets and Finance, ensuring alignment across investment and operational prioritiesPreparing materials for and participating in special projects and quarterly Board meetingsDriving the execution of strategic initiatives while mentoring junior team members and ensuring high-quality analytical output across workstreamsQualifications: Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated self-starters, work well in team-oriented environments, exercise sound judgment and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.
