Overview

Acxiom Salesforce Practice is excited to be hiring for a Salesforce Solutions Architect.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops, including facilitation of large audiences, solution presentations, and prototype demonstrations.
• Build and demonstrate Salesforce CPQ prototypes.
• Participate in the development of conceptual and logical architecture.
• Design, develop, and maintain application architectures that support client business requirements.
• Resolve integration and interfacing issues between various back‑end systems.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Assist Project Leadership in project risk identification and mitigation planning.
• Provide support to the sales effort on new business development pursuits, including RFP responses, architecture assessments, and technical qualification.
• Act as an owner and ultimate escalation point for the implementations one builds and supports.

Requirements

• 3+ years Salesforce Platform implementation experience, with at least 2 full lifecycle Salesforce CPQ implementations.
• Strong understanding of the overall architecture of the Salesforce CRM platform and how it influences design.
• Experience configuring other recurring SaaS solutions is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills, including facilitation of team and client meetings and delivery of constructive feedback.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and Jira.
• Outstanding organizational, analytical, communication, and writing skills.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience managing remote teams across time zones.
• Superior problem‑solving, project management, and attention to detail.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Active Salesforce CPQ Specialist Superbadges (ideal).
• Active B2B Commerce Functional, Sales Cloud Consultant, and Data Architecture & Management Designer badges are a plus.
