Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position in Sioux City, IA, requiring at least 2 years of ICU experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• Every third weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Hospital-based ICU setting
• Patient population includes cardiac, trauma, and neuro cases
• Epic EMR experience required
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses may be required

Requirements

• Active IA RN license or compact RN license required
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) required
• Current PALS (AHA) required
• CPI certification required
• TNCC preferred; required upon extension
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Driver's license required
• One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years required

• Contributes professional and clinical knowledge in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Candidates previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible
• Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's
