Job Opportunity – Medical Oncology Registered Nurse – Michigan

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Michigan

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Every other weekend rotation; no on-call requirement

Highlights:

• Provide specialized care for patients with cancer diagnoses, medical step-down patients, and general medical overflow
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and care coordination
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Work with diverse patient population requiring knowledge of cancer pathophysiology and acute care management
• Travel assignment with competitive compensation package
• Direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, treatments, and care plan evaluation

Requirements:

• Active Michigan RN license (verified through LARA and/or Nursys)
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Oncology nursing experience required
• Experience with medical step-down patient populations
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Epic EMR experience highly preferred
• Current skills checklist pertinent to Medical-Surgical specialty (within 1 year)
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
• Candidates must reside outside of 50-mile radius from facility location
