Job Opportunity – Medical Oncology Registered Nurse – Michigan

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Michigan

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time travel assignment; every other weekend required; no on-call

Highlights:

• Provide skilled nursing care to medical oncology patients, medical step-down patients, and general medical overflow
• Work with a diverse patient population including cancer diagnosis and medical step-down cases
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and order processing
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care

Requirements:

• Active Michigan Registered Nurse license (verified through LARA and/or Nursys)
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
• Oncology nursing experience required
• Comfort and competency managing step-down patient populations required
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification required
• Current skills checklist (within 1 year) pertinent to Medical-Surgical specialty
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
• Prior travel work history highly preferred
• Epic EMR experience highly preferred
• Candidate must reside outside of 50-mile radius from facility location
