Merit Medical
Merit Medical seeks an assembler for day shift work in Sarasota, Florida, to perform assembly operations on medical devices. The role involves rotating through assembly line tasks, conducting visual inspections, and ensuring products meet quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Assemble medical products performing rotating tasks on assembly line
- Conduct on-line and in-process visual inspection of assembled products
- Reject products that fall outside specification requirements
- Operate testing equipment for periodic product and process validation
- Assist team leaders and technicians with equipment changeovers
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and speak English or Spanish
- Fine motor skills and manual dexterity for assembly tasks
- Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Visual acuity and color perception for quality inspection
- Ability to follow repetitive task instructions accurately
- Three months manufacturing experience preferred
