Press Brake/Punch Press OperatorGeorge Evans Corporation is looking for a dependable Press Brake/Punch Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is a full-time position working Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM, giving you Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off.In this position, you will set up and operate press brake and punch press equipment used to manufacture steel components. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, works safely, and can produce quality parts according to drawings and specifications.What You'll DoSet up and operate press brake and punch press equipmentOperate power presses to punch, trim, shape, notch, draw, or crimp steel componentsRead and interpret drawings, routings, work instructions, and specificationsPerform machine setups and make necessary adjustmentsSelect and use appropriate fixtures, tooling, and setup parametersInspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standardsUse gauges, templates, and precision measuring equipmentIdentify and correct quality issues during productionComplete required production and quality documentationMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all company safety procedures and wear required PPEWork with other team members to meet production and quality goalsRequirementsWhat We're Looking ForPrevious press brake, punch press, machine operation, or metal fabrication experience preferredAbility to read manufacturing drawings and routingsBasic shop math skillsAbility to use measuring devices and gaugesMechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine setupsStrong attention to detailDependable and punctual attendanceAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCommitment to safety and qualityPhysical RequirementsThis is an active manufacturing position. Employees must be able to stand for the duration of the shift and regularly bend, reach, twist, push, pull, and handle steel parts and equipment. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
