Salary Range: $61,000 - $96,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and write CNC programs for lathe operations using CAM software.
• Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to determine optimal machining processes.
• Select appropriate tools, cutting speeds, and feed rates for various materials.
• Simulate and verify CNC programs to ensure accuracy and prevent collisions.
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot and optimize programs.
• Create and maintain tooling sheets and setup documentation for production.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives for programming efficiency and part quality.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience programming CNC lathes, including multi-axis machines.
• Proficiency in G-code and M-code programming.
• Expertise with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, GibbsCAM, Esprit).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications.
• Strong understanding of tooling, workholding, and material properties.
