Public Interest Attorney for AI Legal Evaluation

Role Overview
Provide expert reviews of AI-generated legal reasoning in civil justice matters. You will analyze realistic legal scenarios across areas such as housing, family law, consumer protection, debt collection, and bankruptcy, identify gaps or errors in legal analysis, and deliver structured written feedback to improve AI performance and practical usefulness.
Key Responsibilities- Review AI-generated legal analyses for legal accuracy and practical usefulness.
- Evaluate scenarios involving housing, family law, consumer protection, debt collection, and bankruptcy.
- Assess legal reasoning, issue spotting, procedural correctness, and litigation strategy.
- Identify legal errors and recommend specific improvements.
- Produce structured written evaluations that explain findings and suggested corrections.
- Juris Doctor (JD).
- Active U.S. bar admission.
- At least 5 years practicing public interest or civil litigation.
- Strong background in civil legal advocacy and litigation practice.
- Excellent legal writing and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working at nonprofit legal organizations or in impact litigation.
- Substantive expertise in employment law, elder law, or disability rights.
- Experience with policy advocacy or systemic reform efforts.
- Experience supervising attorneys or legal fellows.
- Interest or prior exposure to legal AI or emerging legal technology.
- Location: Remote, within the United States.
- Engagement type: Hourly engagement.
- Estimated commitment: Approximately 15 hours per week.
- Estimated project duration: 2 to 3 weeks.
- Pay rate: 150 USD per hour.
- Must hold an active admission to a U.S. bar.
- Must be able to work remotely from within the United States for the engagement period.
