Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – PRN

Yorkview Nursing and Rehab – York, PA

Yorkview Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide rehabilitation services in our skilled nursing facility in York, PA.

The Physical Therapist Assistant works under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist in assessing residents, developing treatment programs, and delivering physical therapy services designed to improve mobility, function, and independence.

Shift Available

• PRN / As Needed

• Consistent hours available for maternity leave coverage around December/January

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services within the PTA scope of practice in accordance with established standards and department procedures

• Assist the Physical Therapist with resident evaluations as directed

• Assist the Physical Therapist with developing and implementing individualized treatment plans

• Provide therapeutic interventions designed to improve strength, mobility, balance, and functional independence

• Document treatment provided and resident progress accurately and timely

• Communicate resident progress and changes with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team

• Maintain compliance with clinical, regulatory, and facility standards

• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Commitment to resident-centered care and professional excellence

• Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
