Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Telemetry experience preferred.

Unit Details: - Patient population includes geriatric and adult patients; occasional pediatrics are not assigned to travelers. - Unit cares for telemetry, surgical, and general medical patients. - Uses Alaris pumps, SCD machines, feeding tubes, and telemetry monitors.

Shift & Scheduling: - Must occasionally work weekends (same hours 7a-7p/7p-7a). - On-call only when down staffed.

Floating Requirements: - Possible to care for inpatient holds.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
