Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: TrioWFS Program - UnityPoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Experience with mechanical lift required. Experience with IV antibiotics required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: At least 1 travel contract completed preferred.

Special Requests: Cannot have been an employee of UnityPoint in the last 12 months.

Unit Details: This is a small hospital-based skilled unit.

Shift & Scheduling: Every third weekend. No call. Summer holidays: traveler will be required to work 1-2 of 3 (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day).

Floating Requirements: May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
