Experience this and more as a Bright Horizons TeacherFull-time positions are available with toddlers.Responsibilities:Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the childrenMaintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestonesEnsure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelinesFulfill mandated reporter requirements as defined by the appropriate State agency, including reporting any suspected cases of child abuse or neglect to the agency and informing the directorProvide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center or in nearby locationsQualifications:Candidates must pass required state and company background checks and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements: 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is requiredCollege-level coursework in early childhood education, CDA, or an associate or bachelor's degree in early education or related field is preferred1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferredDemonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children is requiredBe part of a community where people grow, futures are shaped, and lives are changed.
