Project Lead

Job Summary The P.L. is the “voice of the customer” in our OI facilities. The P.L. is responsible for the customer experience from the point of sale to on-site delivery to achieve OI’s goal of enhancing “ease of doing business.” The role involves representing the customer’s voice to ensure 100% satisfaction on all sales orders, coordinating with engineering, approving submittals, scheduling with production, and overseeing on-site delivery with the customer and transportation. Job Location This position will be located at our plant in Littleton, CO. Job Responsibilities Serve as the “voice of the customer” in OI facilities. Manage multiple sales orders concurrently. After a sales order is assigned, hold a Turnover/Kick-Off meeting with relevant stakeholders to confirm scope, estimate, and customer ship date. Act as point of contact for the customer from sales order assignment through to on-site delivery, providing status updates. Provide direction and oversight to engineering, production planning, transportation, procurement, and accounting teams. Prepare change order proposals promptly, whether requested by owner, client, engineer, or generated internally. Monitor project progress, problem-solve proactively, offer technical advice, and expeditiously resolve obstacles that could delay schedule. Promote continuous improvement of processes and systems. Coordinate site visits, resolve issues arising from sale to completion, handle change orders, schedule adjustments, and gather required information. Manage required submittals and approvals with the customer. Communicate initial delivery needs with Transportation and follow up as needed. Work with other project managers and plant manager to manage long-term schedule and minimize conflicts with operational restrictions. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required; Civil Engineering preferred. Minimum of 3 years of project management experience. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large to small complex projects simultaneously. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to read production schematics and engineering drawings. Strong organizational and communication skills. Experience within the construction or precast concrete industry. Compensation Base salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 per year plus 10% annual bonus. Vacation: two weeks per year. Sick leave up to 56 hours per annum. 401(k) plan.
